Yep most of the ones that come up when you google it have horns it the top section. Making them look even more like the one Greg posted.

What time frame are these? I've never seen any literature on them much less 'in the flesh'. FWIW, the large horn throat implies a much higher Qts driver than an EVM, more like a University C15W or as offered by EV after the buyout as the 15W.

My best guess mid-late 70s. Frazier was using EVM's at the time. EV offered the OEM 15 inch at 80 bucks quantity 1, which pretty much cornered the OEM market. Renkus Heinz also used EVM's.
Atlas discontinued the SA-33 late 70's. That is the driver in the pic.
Fellow over at Klipsch says it was a custom job by EV, supposedly he was sales manager at Frazier. All I have ever seen looked like regular EVM, might have been only recone kit available, as is the case with many such.

ooh, no, but it sounds purdy! I had a purple 2x12 soldano cab at one point. Was a pleasing purple.
That said, I do likes me the classic Altec greens and blacks. The grey's not bad at all.
There was a point where I was going to strip the 511b's (or the emilars) and paint them yellow (gasp!) , but I've since moved onto fiberglass.
